Born in 1982, Amir Sharara is one of the talented young Egyptian DJs who has a strong felt presence in the music world these days. Growing up, Amir always had a passion for music. Starting off with pop, regular dance music, R'n'B and hip hop, Sharara had one thing in mind; namely invading the House music scene despite his young age.

As time passed, the young DJ started trying out techno and trance music only to master it as well! With a desire to improve and develop his striking talent, the young music master visited various clubs all over the world. In 2001, he went to Ibiza, Spain where his music preferences underwent a magnificent change. Thanks to his experience in the clubs there, Amir became a house fan down to the core. All the different genres of this music in general and progressive house music in specific became his passion.

Next, Amir tried his hands at mixing in 2002. Since then many of his mixes have been aired on the local radio station and become popular among music lovers. The talented DJ was now on a roll and there was no stopping him! Invading various clubs and starring in endless private parties in Egypt, Amir always managed to leave behind a dazzled audience. His talent and fame grew magnificently over the years, winning him numerous chances to rock major clubs in his country.

Today, the young star is a big fan of Sander Kleinenberg, Dave Seaman, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Matthew Dekay.

Is that all? On the contrary; this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Amir! He is currently in the process of starting his own productions. Progressive house lovers are indeed in for a pleasant surprise in the near future as these productions are bound to please their refined music taste.
