Electrified is a new show coming to you to bring you the newest, freshest electronic beats. The show will feature a set by M Fawzy every first friday of the month at 5, and a new guestmix every third friday of the month.

Drawn into the folds of the electronic music world at the tender age of fourteen, M. Fawzy began enjoying the sounds of trance and techno. What started out as a hobby, soon developed into a way of life. His love for the music went deeper and his talent was quickly discovered and developed.
Moving to Canada's Capital City, Ottawa, Ontario when he was 18 gave him the opportunity he was looking for. Blending his style with trance, hard trance, techno and progressive house he quickly made a name for himself in the tight knit community.
By the time he had turned 20, he had secured himself a weekly Friday night residency alongside two of his very close friends, Mikey Siorek and Danny K at an intimate little venue in the heart of the city called The Umbrella Room. It's the place to be on Friday nights!
2004 for Mo has been eventful and fun filled. He opened for local superstars Ryan Dunlop and Joe Jaurez @ Ottawa's premiere After-hours, Surface Night Club.
2004 also saw M. Fawzy open for Montreal's Brad Copeland, on the biggest party day of the year, Canada Day, a special opportunity that he won't soon forget. Lets not overlook all the friendly, impromptu after-hours private parties where we all know the fun times really take place. His talent also earned him a spot in the semi-finals of the United DJ Competition 2004; sadly he had to withdraw from the competition to relocate to Egypt and focus on university.
Since his relocation, M Fawzy has been busy with school. However, he made use of his free time practicing his passion for music. Appearing on the nation's top radio station late 2004, NileFM's Hotmix, gave him a good start in Egypt. Followed by a New Years private party in 2005 to give him the exposure he needed.
During his stay, he has been part of the after hour parties which lead him headlining the New Years 2005 celebration. Now, with less than a year to graduation, M Fawzy is setting his concentration back on his hobby, entering the tribalmixes.com international dj competition to start off 2007.
